Coggins, Pleasant

The news comes to us from No. 9 township that Mr. Pleasant Coggins, a man about 75 years, died somewhat suddenly Sunday night.  He leaves several children.  This man was a skilled millwright.  The funeral was held today (Monday) at St. Martin's church.

Coleman, Maria N.

Died. In Concord, Cabarrus County, N. C. on the 25th of September last, in the 32nd year if her age, Mrs. Maria N. Coleman, wife of Col. Daniel Coleman.

Cook, R. C.

Died. In Concord, on the night of the 6th inst., of paralysis, R. C. Cook, Esq., aged 68 years.  Mr. Cook was up and about in his usual health on Monday morning, and was taken ill about 9:00 o'clock a.m. and never spoke a word afterwards.
