Married Alma Ridenhour, Cabarrus Co., Dec. 28, 1910. Children: Harold A., Voigt, Eugene, Grover Oscar, Jr., Paul E. Ordained 1913 by N.C. Synod. Churches served: Salem-Grace, Rowan Co., 1913-1918; Faith-Emmanuel, Faith, 1918-19, Faith only, 1919-26; supplied Wittenberg, Granite Quarry, 1922-26; Grace, Thomasville, 1926-37. Member, Board of Childrens Home, 1931-37. Died four days before 51st birthday, Feb. 8, 1937; buried at St. John Church, Cabarrus Co.
