Cook, Sallie

Married at the residence of Mr. M. Cook, by Rev. J. A. Linn, Mr. Jesse M. Shuping, of Rowan Co., to Miss Sallie Cook, of Mt. Pleasant.  The bride and groom have our best wishes for a safe and happy journey through life.

Coontz, Lizzie

A colored wedding in high life took place Saturday night in the colored Lutheran church, which is said to have been brilliantly illuminated for the occasion.  Lizzie Coontz daughter of the "parson,"  was married to Jno. Boger, Esq. J. F. Willeford officiating.
